Happy 10th anniversary to NACCM programs at Carey! Grace and I are 2012 graduates and the spiritual fruits of the NACCM programs. Thank teachers and alumni for your encouragement and prayer in moving us into His ministry. Thank Joyce Chan for her initiative and passion in running the program. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the success of the program. It is our privilege of sharing the joy with you all. May the Lord continue to use the program to equip His people for every good work.
Wai-Fung serves as a full time pastor of Halifax Chinese Alliance Church (HCAC) since April 2012. Grace is serving together with Wai-Fung in many church ministries like Sunday service preaching, Christian education, visitation and adult small group etc. The church vision is to be a worshipping, praying, and preaching community, building and equipping one another in order to serve the communities (cf. Romans 12:1; Ephesians 6:18, 4:12; Acts 6:4). Since there are many Chinese international students in Maritimes, the church gives much attention to outreaching the Chinese students both in Halifax and in the nearby cites. The church is like a big family without many boundaries like age, language and cultural background. There are three main groups in the church, the youth group, the mandarin and the Cantonese groups. The speakers need to preach both Mandarin and Cantonese sermons alternatively in Sunday services. HCAC is a typical Canadian Chinese church with bi-literacy and tri-lingualism.
