Bernie Potvin 博士

Potvin 博士是一位教育家,更是一位成就卓越的教育領袖。他曾擔任大學的行政人員、教授 、講師 、政府和非政府機關的教育技術顧問,以及大學和教會課程的委外評估專家。Potvin 博士在亞伯達協助設計並領導完成兩個獲認證的教育學士學位課程的推行,他也成為課程首屆的副院長。Bernie 也曾擔任一個有三所小學學區的總督導長。

在 1996 和 2000 年間,Potvin 博士在卡加利的加西浸信會聯會擔任學習服務主任。他也合著出版了三本書,發表過無數的文章,且常常受受邀針對教育相關的主題(譬如評鑑、創新混合教學方式程以增加課室和學習群體互動的課程、概念塑造、學習表現焦慮等等) 。 Potvin 也是 Old Guys in Action 的創辦人之一, 這是一個人道主義團體,提倡學習、參與 、人際網絡、以及協助慈善機構籌款 (包括 Servants Anonymous Foundation, Cause Canada 以及Mully Children’s Family),曾透過越野自行車探險活動 (Sierra Leone, Guatemala)、馬拉松 (Toronto, Calgary, Kenya) 以及卡加立 Ice Breaker Polar Dips 活動籌得五十萬元以上加幣的善捐 。Bernie 還曾擔任卡加利大學教育系所的講師,也曾是 Gonzaga 大學教育系所的客座教授。
